Captain Scott begins south

The exhibition was displayed on the top floor of a building adjacent to the Olympic construction site. The building had been subject to a compulsory purchase order by the Olympic Authority and it was unknown as to the date this would take effect. Planning permission was in place to knock down half the building for a public footbridge to access the Olympic site. The backdrop of the exhibition was a panoramic view of the Olympic construction site, which in March 2008 was enclosed by a ten mile blue wooden wall. Two pieces of work were installed in the gallery and one on the roof of the building.
